Visit of the President of the Republic Petr Pavel to the MIA CAS

The unique T. G. Masaryk Library was inaugurated on 27 June 2023 by the President of the Republic Petr Pavel together with the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences Eva Zažímalová. The library, which contains over 200,000 volumes, is located in the building of the Masaryk Institute and Archives of the CAS in Prague 8 – Libeň. Given the historical events of the 20^th century, the library and the personal archive of our first president have had a turbulent history. Books are available for study by reservation.
